Ecosparks’ CEO‘S Interview With Singapore’s Money FM 89.3

Ecosparks’ CEO, Cliff Tong, shared how UV-C disinfection technology can help with businesses during the pandemic, and potentially becoming a necessity in the long run, during an interview with Timothy Go from Singapore’s business and personal finance radio station, Money FM 89.3 last week. Here are some key points from the interview session.
Timothy : What would the benefits be, in regards to (Ecosparks’ LED UVGI UV-C) air and surface disinfection solution, for businesses that are reopening?
Cliff : Since Singapore’s circuit breaker and the lockdowns in other countries, many businesses have approached us about this (Ecosparks’ LED UVGI UV-C air and surface disinfection solution) as an opportunity to upgrade their defenses against the virus in preparation for reopening once restrictions are lifted. It (our disinfection solutions) creates a safe environment while their patrons are visiting their premises. For example, restaurants, office premises, fitness centers and many more.
Timothy : Would a system like this help with situations where businesses are required to open their doors and windows to keep the air circulating?
Cliff : Our air disinfection solution provides 24/7 disinfection through producing a controlled UV-C field which continuously cleanse the air in the upper area of the room while we carry out our daily activities. Our surface disinfection technology provides an additional layer of protection for businesses with pockets of time during intervals, for example house of worship, and fitness centers. This technology is also less human-reliant.
Timothy : What is next for disinfection technology?
Cliff : Let me share my insight on how our technology could change the SOP for cleaning and disinfection. We know from recent clusters that many frontliners, for example, cleaners, have been infected with the COVID19 virus. Having our technology in place before sending the frontliners out to their workplace can definitely protect them better.
